Ms. Kshaf Nasir has joined the Department of Psychology at Virtual University as a Lecturer. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Lahore College for Women University. She holds an MS in Clinical Psychology from Kinnaird College for Women University and a BS in Clinical Psychology from King Edward Medical University. She has completed her clinical internships at Mayo Hospital and Services Hospital, where she gained hands-on experience in psychological assessment, diagnosis, therapeutic interventions, and patient counselling. Alongside her clinical work, she has over 2.5 years of teaching experience, including serving as a Lecturer in Psychology at Queen Mary College. Her areas of interest include clinical assessment, psychotherapy, mental health awareness, and evidence-based interventions. She is passionate about promoting mental health literacy, reducing stigma, and applying research-based approaches to improve therapeutic outcomes. With a blend of clinical and academic expertise, Ms. Kshaf Nasir is committed to bridging the gap between research and practice. She aims to contribute to the field by developing innovative teaching methods, fostering research culture among students, and working towards accessible and effective mental health services in Pakistan. Ms. Kshaf Nasir’s research centers on psychological well-being, with emphasis on gender and family dynamics. Her BS and MS work explored stress and related factors in young women, and her PhD involves developing a culturally relevant scale to assess psychological stress in parents of adolescents.
