Professional Overview Over 28 years of experience in Television Presentation. From 1994-1999 have a almost 5 years experience as programs officer in Net work Television Marketing at Peshawar. Since 2002, I have led the Transmission, Traffic, and Planning operations at the Virtual University of Pakistan (VU), playing a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end broadcasting workflow of VU’s four television channels (VUTV). With over two decades of experience in digital television broadcasting, I specialize in ensuring seamless transmission, high-quality content delivery, and strategic resource planning. Broadcasting & Transmission Operations: I oversee the full spectrum of broadcasting activities, including the preparation of fixed point charts, cue sheets, and daily presentations for all VUTV channels. My responsibilities cover the entire digital broadcasting workflow—from transmission play-out, ingest, encoding, and quality control to content storage—ensuring both technical precision and editorial compliance. Planning & Production Supervision: As Planning Incharge, ensuring compliance with technical standards. Planning and Production Supervision As Planning Incharge, I assign production and post-production shifts across studios, NLE, and graphic design teams. I oversee the course development process, from auditions to final delivery, and manage social media posting and VUTV telecasts to maximize audience reach. . TV Cable Distribution & Advertisement Management: I spearhead national cable distribution and advertising initiatives, maintaining strong coordination with satellite and cable operators. I also liaise with PEMRA and other broadcasting entities to ensure full regulatory compliance and resolve distribution challenges. Traffic Management & Video Library Oversight: In my Traffic Incharge role, I manage VUTV’s digital video library, ensuring efficient archiving and easy access to all production content. I also oversee social media strategies to amplify our digital presence. Censorship & Content Standards :As a member of VU’s internal censor board, I have reviewed and approved over 200 academic programs and courses, ensuring they meet ethical, cultural, and regulatory standards.
