Mr. Abdul Qayyum got early education from his hometown. He, then, came to Lahore and got his higher education. He did master in mathematics, master in science education, M.Phil in Science education from University of the Punjab. He is also doing PhD in science education from University of the Punjab. His course work has been finished with distinction and his research work has been started. Mr. Abdul Qayyum has taught many courses (Educational Research, Measurement and Assessment in Teaching, Statistical Package for Social Sciences, Educational Psychology, Teaching of Mathematics and Physics) as visiting faculty member at Institute of Education and Research. He has served as Tutor of Educational Psychology in B.Ed. Technical program which was a collaboration among University of the Punjab, Virtual University of Pakistan and University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. He has given his services as a resource person in many training workshops. He has been the part of organization committee of many International and National Conferences at the Institute of Education and Research. He has research experience of seven years. He has completed numerous research projects successfully in which he worked as research assistant and project coordinator. He has also supervised and co-supervised many thesis at M.A and M.Phil level. His area of interest is science education, especially mathematics education, Discourse Analysis (Linguistic Field), Research Methods, Assessment and Measurement in Teaching, Educational Psychology and Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). |
