The Department of Psychology, Virtual University of Pakistan organized a one-day workshop on “Mental Health Awareness” on 23rd October 2023. The event’s highlights were the guest speakers, Prof. Dr. Ruhi Khalid (Director of the Institute of Psychology at Beaconhouse National University) and Prof. Dr. Shahida Batool (Government College University, Lahore). The event featured a poster competition on diverse themes related to mental health challenges, associated factors & strategies to manage these issues, and a thought-provoking documentary on psychological issues. On desk, mental health awareness camp was also arranged to facilitate the participants.
