A one-day training workshop was organized for faculty of education on “Generative AI in Education: Harnessing Technology for Enhanced Learning” on November 13, 2024. Dr. Irum Andleeb, Miss Javeria Rashid and Miss Zareen Taj were the resource persons from the department of Education. The purpose of the training was the capacity building of faculty members in the effective use of AI tools, with a focus on hands-on practice and application in the educational context. Hands-on experience was gained focusing on generative AI tools and exploring their potential applications in curriculum design and assessment. The session concluded with actionable strategies for leveraging AI to address contemporary educational challenges.
