The Department of Statistics at the Virtual University of Pakistan organized a Seminar titled “Planning a Household Survey: Evidence From Multiple Indicators Cluster Survey(MICS)” on November 24, 2022. Guest Speakers were Dr. Sajid Rasul (Director General, Bureau of Statistics) and Isaac Shahzad (Assistant Director, Bureau of Statistics). The session provided comprehensive insights into the methodology and techniques employed in conducting household surveys, specifically focusing on the MICS approach. Topics such as survey design, sampling methodologies, questionnaire development, data collection strategies, and quality assurance measures were highlighted.
