Virtual University of Pakistan celebrated its 13th convocation in Quetta

The Virtual University of Pakistan proudly celebrated its 13th Convocation at a grand ceremony held in Quetta. The event, marked by enthusiasm and a sense of accomplishment, saw the conferment of degrees upon 121 graduates from various academic programs.

The convocation was graced by the esteemed presence of the Rector of Virtual University, Professor Dr. Arshad Saleem, who served as the chief guest for the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saleem congratulated the graduates on their significant achievements and encouraged them to utilize their education to contribute positively to society.

Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Balochistan, served as the chief guest. His presence underscored the significance of collaboration between educational institutions in fostering regional development.

The ceremony recognized graduates across three major degree categories:

 

  • Bachelors: 55 graduates
  • Masters: 58 graduates
  • MS / M.Phil.: 8 graduates

In addition to the degrees, two students were honored with merit certificates for their outstanding academic performances, highlighting the university's commitment to excellence in education.

In his speech, Professor Dr. Arshad Saleem emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and adaptability in today’s rapidly evolving world. He urged the graduates to continue striving for excellence and to be proactive in applying their knowledge and skills to overcome challenges and seize opportunities.

The 13th Convocation of Virtual University of Pakistan was a memorable event, celebrating not only the academic success of its students but also their potential to make significant contributions in their respective fields. The university remains dedicated to providing quality education and fostering an environment that nurtures talent and innovation.
